Since moving to Austin, I had quite a bit of free time while I was job hunting. Thankfully this gave me the chance to catch up on scrapbooking. I decided to try my hand at Digital Project Life by Becky Higgins. I completed my entire 2014 scrapbook in a little under two weeks, working on one month a day.
While I miss the physical stuff (I love my ticket stubs and business cards and all those little scraps of paper we all accumulate), I am glad that I completed this photo book and I can check it off my to do list! I definitely plan on printing it later down the line and look forward to sharing when I do!
We celebrated New Years at home and it was fantastic! A few days later, we hosted a brunch for all of our friends. It was such a great way to start off the year with the people that matter most!
We headed to Richmond to celebrate our friends Katie and Thomas’s engagement party. My friend Erin and I saw Gypsy at Signature Theater – it was great! The rest of this page is filled with snapshots of January – cold weather, flowers, tea, treadmill runs, vists to Bluejacket and creating the photo display for our April wedding. More January snapshots: My niece trying on her flowergirl dress, our pint glass wedding favors, snowy beards, starting my internship with Potomac Arts Academy, game night with friends, new exhibition at the Smithsonian American History museum where I volunteered, one of the cats curled up in our laundry basket, new (FREE!) sunglasses and Roswell goofing around at work.
