Hello Friends! It’s been a while! I am still recovering after the whirlwind Dopey Challenge Disney trip that was last week. I wanted to stop by and share five things I’m looking forward to for the next few weeks – from things I’m sharing on the blog to what’s coming up next.
My last two weeks of Dopey Challenge Training
In the craziness of the holidays and leaving very shortly after for Disney, I didn’t get a chance to share my last two weeks of training and taper for the Dopey Challenge. I want to go back and finish recapping all of my training and hopefully some lessons learned.
I ran a few races recently, in case you didn’t know, and I want to share about them! In addition to the Dopey Challenge races, I also want to recap the Annapolis Half Marathon and the Jingle All the Way 5K.
Starting Cherry Blossom Training
The Credit Union Cherry Blossom/Spring Mid-Distance PR Training Program starts later this month. I’m hoping that I’ll have had enough rest and recovery time to start up without any problems.
Get to Work Book
I was inspired by fellow CUCB Race Ambassador Sara’s recent post on the CUCB blog about tracking your training. The next day, I placed an order for the Get to Work Book (by Elise Joy) and I can’t wait to start using it to track my training progress. If anyone else uses the GTWB (or any planner), I’d love to see how you use it!
I don’t make resolutions anymore really, but I do have some goals for 2017. While they’re not as crazy (Dopey?) as the challenge we just completed, they do include doing more cross training and getting faster. Did you make any goals or resolutions for 2017?
